Eastview Living Spaces

Blending warmth, craft, and function across everyday spaces

This project reimagined a home’s most-used living spaces; creating continuity, function, and warmth from the moment you step inside. The entryway features a custom millwork nook in slatted wood with integrated coat hooks and storage drawers, giving the family a practical and elegant place to transition from outdoors to in.

The entryway sets the tone with custom millwork in warm wood tones; a built-in bench with hidden storage underneath and hooks that make coming and going just a little easier. Everything has its place, but it doesn't feel fussy. It feels like home.

In the bedroom, we focused on creating calm through thoughtful details. Custom built-ins provide storage beside storage without taking up floor space, while carefully selected finishes in natural materials keep the room feeling restful and uncluttered. The palette is soft and neutral, allowing morning light to fill the space.

The custom Saskatoon map woodcut became the heart of this project, a handcrafted piece that roots the home in place. Framed and finished to complement the woodwork throughout, it's both art and a daily reminder of the streets and neighborhoods that make this city feel like home.

Every choice balanced durability with warmth. The result is a home that works harder without trying too hard, a place where function and beauty share the same space, day after day.
